Homeowners across Gloucestershire

A clear price, a tidy job and engineers you'd happily have back. From a boiler that's playing up to a full heating design, we'll sort it properly and explain it in plain English.

Your new boiler price guide, a clearer idea of installation costs before you enquire.

An honest starting point for a brand-new boiler, supplied and fitted, not a service, repair or breakdown. Choose your boiler type and home size for an indicative "from" figure, then book a survey for an exact quote.

An indicative guide to a new boiler, two choices, one rough figure.

Every home is different, so this is a guide to a new boiler installation rather than a fixed quote. It rules out surprises and helps us price your job faster.

Book a survey

Guide figure only, a new boiler supplied & fitted, excluding any additional pipework, flue runs or system upgrades found on survey. The live tool will use conditional logic (Gravity Forms) for a more precise estimate.

Looking for a boiler service, repair or breakdown instead? That's a separate job, not covered by this guide, call 07780 963 445.

Water softeners

Cotswold water is hard. A softener quietly fixes a lot of it.

Limescale is the reason kettles fur up, showers lose pressure and boilers work harder than they should. A softener treats the cause, not the symptoms.

  • Far less limescaleNo more scale on taps, tiles, kettles and glassware.
  • Protects appliances & your boilerSofter water is kinder to heat exchangers, washing machines and dishwashers.
  • Better water qualitySofter skin and hair, cleaner laundry, less soap and detergent.
  • Better system performanceScale-free pipework and radiators keep your heating efficient for longer.

Recent work, proof, not promises.

A commercial project and a home job, side by side. Full case studies to follow, the structure below shows the outcomes we report on.

Quick help at home, something not working? Start here.

A few common household problems and the first things worth checking. It's guidance, not a substitute for a proper look, if in doubt, call us.

No hot water, hot water's gone cold

Usually the boiler, a thermostat setting or (with stored systems) a spent immersion or diverter valve.

  • Check the boiler display for a fault code or a locked-out light.
  • Confirm the thermostat and hot-water schedule are actually calling for heat.
  • If you have a cylinder, feel whether it's warming at all.
Still cold? It's likely a repair. Call an engineerRequest a callout

Cold radiators, radiators won't warm up

Cold at the top usually means trapped air; cold at the bottom often means sludge. Some rooms cold can point to balancing.

  • Cold at the top? A bleed may sort it.
  • Cold at the bottom across several rads? The system may need a power flush.
  • Check the radiator valves are open.
Recurring cold spots? Worth a look. Call an engineerRequest a callout

A leak or burst pipe

Water and time don't mix. Act quickly to limit damage, then get it looked at.

  • Turn off the stopcock to stop the flow at source.
  • Switch off electrics near any water.
  • Catch drips and clear the area while you wait.
This is an emergency, call now. Call 07780 963 445

Low pressure, boiler pressure has dropped

Most combi boilers want around 1–1.5 bar cold. A slow drop over time is common; a sudden one can mean a leak.

  • Check the pressure gauge, is it below 1 bar?
  • Topping up via the filling loop can help if you know how.
  • Dropping again quickly? There may be a leak to find.
Repeated pressure loss needs checking. Call an engineerRequest a callout

The boiler won't fire up

It could be pressure, a fault code, no gas or a lockout. Some are quick fixes, some aren't.

  • Note any fault code on the display.
  • Check other gas appliances are working (rules out a supply issue).
  • Confirm pressure is in the normal range.
Gas work is for a registered engineer. Call an engineerRequest a callout

Heating's just not right

Slow to warm, uneven rooms or short-cycling can point to controls, balancing or a tired system.

  • Check thermostat settings and schedules first.
  • Note which rooms underperform and when.
  • Listen for banging or gurgling from the system.
We'll diagnose it properly on a visit. Call an engineerRequest a callout
